To update your version of SmartRoster just click the "Check for updates" button under the file | options menu. You will need to run SmartRoster as administrator to perform an update. Right click on the icon and select "Run as administrator". This will work even if you are using a trial. It will be inactive if your trial has ended, or you have purchased the product and your support has expired. You may need to purchase annual support if you wish to obtain further updates. If not sure, send us an email.

If you have version 1.x installed, you need to uninstall it using the control panel "add or remove programs" utility, and then download and install the new version. No user files should be lost in this process, but we advise you not to keep any SmartRoster files (*.ros) in the "Program Files" folder or sub-folder.
