Upgrading from any version to 4.x

All updates and upgrades are available free with annual support which is a single low fee per licence held.
Any original purchase automatically provides the first year of support free.

Support entitles you to:

  • Free email technical support
  • All official updates and upgrades
  • Any special offers that may be available from time to time
  • The ability to access phone support for emergencies only (not available without support)

To upgrade to the latest version:

1. If your annual support is NOT current (you purchased more than 12 months ago), purchase annual support from our web site. We will send you your updated registration which allows you to run version 4.x. Install your registration as per the instructions provided in the registration email

note: To purchase annual support select "Annual Support - per licence" from the purchase page. When you "View Cart" in that page, change the number of items to your number of licenses before proceeding.

If you are already running version 3.x or higher...

2. Run Smartroster as administrator - to do this right click on the Smartroster icon and select "Run as administrator"

3. Select menu item File > Options in SmartRoster

4. Click on the button "Check for updates" to upgrade to the latest version and you are done.

If you are still running version 2.x or lower...

2. Uninstall Smartroster (under control panel > Programs and features, find Smartroster and click to uninstall).

3. Download and install the latest version of Smartroster from our website and use you registration details to register it.
